Mais do que uma questão de status
"(...) non-academic professional positions (...) in Portuguese tertiary education institutions tend to have a lower status and fewer resources attached to them than equivalent positions in tertiary education institutions in many OECD countries. As qualified professional staff with adequate authority and resources are crucial to the development and implementation of effective institutional strategies, this comparative under-resourcing is problematic."
